It's available in charcoal and oak and has a variety of melange fabrics that work well with a variety of decor styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed with the legs securely clicking into place and the zips secure to ensure safety for babies. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support contact number should you encounter any issues.
The CoZee crib comes with all the features you would expect from a crib to your bedside, such as the ability to connect it to your existing bed using a stay-in place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. Additionally, there is an inclined feature that can be used to assist infants suffering from reflux or congestion. If you're looking to keep your baby close during the first six months when they're able to go to sleep on their own and independently, the CoZee is a great option as it can also be used as a separate cot, changing table or toddler bed. It can also be transformed into a sofa bed by the addition of an extension pack. While it will not feed your baby or magically put them to sleep it will gently rock them to send them off!
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's more expensive options, however it has a wide array of features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or standalone crib, and is suitable for babies up to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a new mechanism. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels and feet that retract to installation under any bed.
Our testers loved the easy access to the side panel, which can be moved up and down at the touch of a button. This was an enormous help during feeding times at night because it meant they could easily reach in and pick up their baby without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lifted on its own however it isn't advised as it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism guarantees that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the bed properly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace of mind, especially when you're breastfeeding and need frequent feedings at night.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers due to the legs that telescopic. Our test participants found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it does come with lengthy instructions. The conversion kit for cots (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to get started. It took us about an hour to complete and was fairly straightforward. The only issue was the absence of written captions on a few images which made it difficult to comprehend certain steps. However, overall it was a straightforward procedure and the quality of the materials used was high.
